WEBZEN has released the second major update for its popular idle RPG, MU: Pocket Knights, introducing a host of new features that significantly deepen character progression and expand the end-game challenge content.

The update, which follows the game’s successful global launch in September, focuses heavily on strategic growth and challenging new stages to keep its growing player base engaged.

Key Features of the New Update

The core of this update is the introduction of a new system for customization and a major expansion of content across existing game modes:

New Growth System: Rune System

  • Function: This new system allows players to further enhance their equipment with Runes, providing additional high-tier attributes and strengthening character stats.
  • Acquisition: Runes can be obtained through the Explorations feature.
  • Impact: The Rune System is designed to offer greater flexibility and depth in character progression, encouraging strategic building and customization.

Challenge and Stage Expansion

To give players more to conquer, WEBZEN has significantly expanded the content across multiple challenge modes:

  • Battle: Received 30 additional chapters.
  • Blood Castle, Square of Devil, & Maze of Dimension: Each gained 30 new stages.
  • Abyss Dungeon: Expanded with 20 additional stages.

Special Event & Customization

  • Halloween Event: A special “Trick or Treat Rush!” event has been added, allowing players to collect Halloween Candies and Pumpkins via Explorations to exchange for exclusive rewards.
  • New Gear: New equipment and costumes are available, which, when combined with the new Rune System, offer diverse strategic options and enhance combat capabilities.
